Working at Farley perfectly combines my interest in historical art and design – spurred on by my History of Art degree – and my love of beautiful films.

My appreciation of a film always rides on its visual appeal and design, and so to be a part of assisting our clients’ set curation plays to my own ideals in helping a production succeed. I think a large part of Farley’s charm is our showroom format; seeing antique props displayed this way helps both us and the clients to imagine them in situ and the roles they could play in translating and building a story. Horror is one of my favourite genres of cinema and I’d love to help provide props for an eerie production – although I have heard fake blood is not kind to antiques.
